  • 100 g macaroni
  • 8 tbsp Knorr Salted Egg Yolk Powder
  • 100 g pizza cheese (mixture of parmesan, cheddar, mozzarela)
  • 1 tsp Knorr SavorRich Chicken Concentrated Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Knorr chicken stock
  • 5 minced shallots
  • 5 minced garlic
  • 5 lightly fried curry leaves
  • chopped parsley, as required
  • pepper as required
  • 1 tbsp Cooking olive oil

Salted Egg Macaroni and Cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 200oC.

  2. Slightly undercook macaroni to before al dente. Drain, then drizzle and toss with oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.

  3. Mix cheese well with 3 tbsp of Knorr Salted Egg Yolk Powder. Set aside.

  4. On medium hot pan, add a splash of oil, minced garlic, shallots, fried curry leaves and 5 tbsp of Knorr Salted Egg Yolk powder. Fry till fragrant.

  5. Add macaroni, toss, and add chicken stock and allow it to simmer. Finish off with 1 tsp of Knorr SavorRich.

  6. Placed pasta into casserole. Cover pasta with cheese & Knorr Salted Egg Yolk powder mixture.

  7. Broil in oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.

  8. Garnish with parsley and pepper.
